I have the Maschine+ with the latest update and I still hear random static noise in standalone. The CPU is 13% with only two sampler tracks. I don't think it's the cables because I hear it both through my speakers and my headphones. I would say I hear it randomly about every minute. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

Is the noise also present on the inputs? Which means; Does it appear while recording?

I get CPU clip noise when I don't have "play" activated. They become consistent at around 40% but can still randomly happen bellow 40% CPU.

If I get clipping with the play head in motion it is usually mitigated b toggling the audio device in settings. There is only one audio device if you are not plugged into an external sound card, however, twirling the knob a bit seems to reset the internal sound card and stop the CPU clip glitches.

Perhaps they could implement an auto refresher at some point or fix what ever this issue is soon!

I don't have any inputs plugged in at the moment. I just hear about a half second of static noise randomly every minute or so while playing a beat. Sometimes I don't hear it for a while, but it's still eventually comes back. And it's never in the same part of the beat.

Does the noise occur when the M+ is idle and nothing is played back?

I might be wrong but that sounds like CPU glitches I get. Like I said, twirling that knob that selects the audio device seems to help. Also, keeping the system in play minimizes the glitches for me. It is frustrating for sure, I hope it is fixed cuz the + would be amazing without it.

I have similar issues in controller mode, especially on big projects, it is a Maschine software fail that I hope gets addressed ASAP.

No, it only happens on playback.

I kind of noticed, when I have a single pattern looping, it doesn't seem to happen. But when I'm in song mode, I hear it more.

Happens to me too on my ltd edition ultraviolet Maschine+.

Only way to fix it is to give the audio engine a kick, and per session:

    1. Settings.
    2. Audio.
    3. Turn the first knob under Device ("Internal") while playing.

Very annoying for a $1500 machine designed to do one thing really well, cmon NI can we get a fix please.

Suffer from the same problems. Been wondering if i got a faulty unit since it really is nasty and frequent.

Just would like to add that sometimes i boot the m+ and i get even nastier and persistent clackling. A reboot (after a boot) seems to solve it.

indeed this is not live ready and i even question if it is production ready. It has huge pottential but needs extra/urgent attention.

Haha, I think we all still do that from time to time.
And that’s not very funny, to be fair :( These are the basic things that should have worked from the start.

NATIVE INSTRUMENTS either cannot replicate this bug (highly unlikely) or are unable to fix it ever and its a hardware fault. Its very annoying having to reset the audio device several times in a session. I've been relatively quiet on the angry front since I bought Maschine+ but I must admit I'm disappointed on the frequency of updates to fix bugs. I don't think I will go through the whole of 2022 remaining a Maschine+ fan, I have my eye on some of Akai products now. May switch my valuable time to learning that system.

I am dealing with the same issue. My first Maschine did not have this issue.

Check if it's not a groundloop. Those could be created by power, USB and audio cables. Try to switch cables, or power-outlets, to see if it helps.

That was the issue. I had the USB cord in a powered USB hub. Once I moved it the buzzing stopped.
