Maschine software doesn't open up?

    Hey guys,
    maschine worked for me now for like 2 years without big problems but suddenly my software doesn't open...
    there is just the loading module and nothing happens at all...
    any help??

    Same!!!! i click on machine in applications. starts to load then nothing. but the app is still showing up in the dock, can't quit it and need to force quit to remove

    Have you been using an external monitor with it? Mine was opening the screen on the external even though it wasn't plugged in so I could not see it. Also had messages about vst missing which needed answering.

    I'm having the same problem. I have been using an external monitor with my laptop, but I can't see the Maschine UI on either of the other desktops and it doesn't seem to obey the Mac Doc options to show all windows or to open on my selected desktop.

    As a follow up I tried it with my external monitor hooked up and still nothing. I've done a complete re-install of Maschine 2 and that hasn't helped either. The software works as a plugin but the standalone version is dead.

    Another follow up - I've now managed to get Maschine 2 working, but not quite perfectly. I created a new user account on my mac, then went and ran Maschine 2 from there. That worked perfectly and I found I had a bunch of dialogue boxes I needed to deal with to do with moved content. Once I dealt with those the standalone UI opened and Maschine worked fine. Unfortunately if I go back to my main user account the UI still won't open. I'm assuming there is something buried in my original user profile that is screwing things up but for now I can get into Maschine and do what I wanted for this weekend so I'm not going to waste more time on this at the moment.

    I am extremely glad you guys are writing about this. I am in the biggest binds of my life regarding this. I am in a band where i mainly use Maschine 2.0.

    So last night I decided to buy Grey Forge or whatever that new expansion pack is called and along with that I also decided do all the updates that Service Center asked for. Now nothing. I cant start up Maschine or anything.

    Same symptoms as all of you.

    Any updates?

    To make things worse NI Service Center now wont connect to NI.

    HELP!!!

    However, products with a hardware dependency, such as MASCHINE, KOMPLETE KONTROL, TRAKTOR, GUITAR RIG, and Controller Editor will not launch when the AVID CoreAudioManager/Drivers are installed under 10.10 Yosemite. Native Instruments and Avid are working together to resolve this compatibility issue.



    Native Instruments is currently conducting further systematic compatibility and performance tests with the release version of Yosemite, and will provide new information as it becomes available.
