maschine - space bar should never be used as delete

a space bar should never be used as delete.
Who in the world would ever think that the space bar should ever be able to delete notes? This is really really terrible. I love maschine, and yes, all software has issues. But the space bar should never delete a note. It is just a key that is universal in any DAW and used a billion times a day. This "feature", it happens when you select a note velocity, has got to be one of the craziest ideas i have ever seen in a program. I'm sorry, but this isn't a 1980's video game where you push the space bar to shoot away a note. You should push delete when you want to delete a note. This should be changed as soon as possible. I would have said something long ago, but i just figured someone else would be complaining about this, and Ni would have changed it by now.

 

Not seeing that happening here. I've just tried to make it happen and it doesn't.

What version of Maschine are you on? What platform?

 

on all versions of machine 2 i have used as a plugin (in ableton or protools), if you edit the velocity of a note and then push the spacebar to listen to what you have done, the note is deleted. So irritating because you have to select the velocity , edit it, deselect it, audition, select again, edit… It doesn't do this in standalone.
