Maschine Studio 2.2.0: Touch preview on rotaries not working?

It might be that I have missed something very simple, in which case I apologise, but I cannot get the touch preview to work with the rotaries on the Studio with 2.2.0

Both the ARP and SCALE are working beautifully (and how!), but no amount of touching or slight manipulation of the dials brings up the tag cloud preview as the update suggests. Is there a setting I have to turn on? Am I completely blind? Have I misunderstood how this is meant to work?

I just got an email for a firmware update this morning, dont know if you got it yet

 

yes they must of had a lot of enquiries as the update wasnt so easy to find but the firmware does correct the isuue.

 

I got the same email about the firmware updater, but now I have the problem the my Maschine Studio controller is not listed in the firmare updater. All my other NI controllers are.

 

There is a specific firmware updater for the Studio. Download that one.

 

Yes get the studio updater for studio only. The other updater is useless for studio

 

You mean you downloaded the "Device updater for Maschine Studio" file and not the the generic one for the other controllers? And it still won't work?

 

Sorry, I screwed up. I didnt see the studio only device updater, I had the generic one and my studio didnt show up. I opened my eyes and found the studio only updater and it worked. All seems to be working now

Just looked for the highest release number that said "updater" and didn't pay attention to anything else.

the touch does not werk for me, no arp, my purchased sound banks won't load Spark, Prism, Reaktor, Skanner XT and whats worse....when maschine tried to scan plug-ins....it crashes during scan. so basically....i can no longer use my machine studio.so far this update is SUPER bad.PLEASE send fix ASAP....im super unhappy.

 

I had this issue with plug ins not loading. This all occurred after my update to 2.2. I did the firmware upgrade after the software upgrade and yesterday due to plugins not working ie kontact disappeared completely I reinstalled 9 ultimate and now all works, did mean a few hours of updates though. NI were very very helpful when i spoke to them.

 

so phaelam get the firmware update first and do that. this will give you the touch, then i suspect yours messed up like mine reinstall your ni software ultimate or whatever.
