    Hello all,

I've been having issues with installing and getting Maschine Studio to function properly on my Windows 10 PC. I've documented the issues I've been having here (https://www.native-instruments.com/...-2-installer-freezes-my-windows-10-pc.274062/) and thought this forum might be a bit more appropriate. My apologies if posting twice violates the rules of this forum.

I've managed to get the installer to run without freezing my PC, activated Maschine 2 in Service Center and I've gotten the Maschine 2 software to run. However, my Maschine Studio unit does not seem to function or even get recognized. After trying and failing to get the Maschine Studio driver installed through Service Center, I've tried to run the installer manually only to get an error message that says:

    Runtime error in setup script:

Line471: List index out of bounds (2)

I'm not exactly sure what is going on here. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to proceed? Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

    • Does launching the installer via right-mouse-click -> "Run as Administrator" make any difference?
    • Is the installer EXE file by any chance inside a zip-folder? If that's the case try to unzip the folder first (instead of launching the installer-exe inside the zip-folder).
    Otherwise contact NI Support: http://www.native-instruments.com/en/company/contact-ni/

Thanks for the suggestions, solger. Selecting "Run as Administrator" doesn't make any difference, and the installer EXE is not inside of a zip folder. I've contacted NI Support about this but haven't heard back for over a week so I wanted to check and see if anyone else out there had encountered a similar issue with the installer and managed to find a solution.

Try also to call them (which is usually faster). Phone numbers can be found in the link in my previous post.
