    999 us dollars = 737 euro

why american price is always lower also if native instruments is based in Germany?
I think that if we buy in the U.S., also with shipping cost and tax, will cost lower than in Europe. It's a shame!

So how does the tax and shipping work if you ordered something from the states and shipped it to the UK?

    999 us dollars = 737 euro
    999 euro = 1359 us dollars

prices can not be done without considering the change effectively,
this must be absolutely clear, otherwise this is incorrect and you can make legal recourse

Couldnt we get round it like ebay sellers by marking it as a gift?

Looking at the digitalwhitebyte's conversion makes it look crazy expensive,

I just want to know if i ordered a Maschine Studio from Sweetwater in the US for $999 (£615) what will i be charged by HMRC customs when it enters this country? And will the total be cheaper than buying it from NI at €999 (£837)?

I've shipped guitars and a ukulele from the US and it's (assuming its the same) 25% all in. The UK has the most outrageous shipping/import tax rates imaginable. Also, depending on which company handles the item after customs, there CAN be an additional charge although its usually quite small. I'll be interested to see what the UK price is.

Well a 25% charge would work out at £768, which is a lot cheaper. However, whilst looking at the HMRC website, it stated that there were 14,000 different classifications for imported goods, each with a different % for customs tax. Some being as low as 0% up to as high as 85%. So with that in mind i doubt it will be the same as importing a guitar. :(

In the FAQ of purchase, it says that there is a list of countries that will be in EURO,
but the other remaining countries should have the cost based on what rate?
If the Native Instruments, provides that costs $ 999 dollars can not put that cost in € 999 euro.
But it remains a question, how Native Instruments as established the currency of the price?
    It does not seem correct.

VAT.. prices are inclusive of sales tax in Europe and tax is high

prices are exclusive of sales tax in USA and sales taxes are low.

There is NOTHING to complain to NI about here.

I bought maschine Mk2 two weeks ago for 599$..... and so now I have to pay $ 99 more for an upgrade? but it is a scam .... I understand for the Mk1 version, but I registered the software two weeks ago and now my maschine is considered old? is the last time I buy native instruments products, very disappointed
