Here's another quickie video for the community, this isn't too long, and it's not super detailed, mainly just a quick video of me putting different parts into a track on the controller. My intentions were to give you an idea of how the screens on the studio look when creating.

You can see the "zoom level" is also indicated on the left screen by a white square, so as you zoom in and out of your pattern/arrangement you still get a general overview on the left screen, with the white square showing what you have on focus on the right screen.

Also, you'll notice when using different products, the right screen shows the product name with a colored background and the left screen has the mini icon of the product/device being used.

Nothing too deep, but I just wanted to do something to quickly kinda of show how the note input shows up on the screens (notice the red lines as I hold the keys for the vocal part) as well as how quickly you can jump into mixer view to adjust, which is definitely going to be an improvement for many people. Also remember you can adjust your sound/group and master output with the large volume knob as well.

Very cool. Is that choir sound part of the new 2.0 library, or something else?

    Thanx for all the videos

Would you mind tell me about the tempo selection, i did not any dedicated knob. Thanx. I ordered a black one, you almost make me regret it.... The white is really nice too

Not that one, I mainly used plugins for this. I used sounds from Sample Logic Morphestra Generations, Eduardo Tarilonte Shevannai (vocal), NI The Giant, and NI Monark.

There is a tap tempo button, and if you hold that button you can turn the jogwheel to adjust the tempo also.

Oooh, just had a look at the Morphestra sound pack and it does look tasty. In a couple of beers time my credit card might take another hit... ;)

I am a noob when it comes to maschine and though I have ordered a studio I have a lot to learn, I was very interested in your setup in the last of your very informative videos ( the quick beat making one). Could you tell me what equipment you're using for that set up? Was the keyboard plug directly into the maschine studio?

I have my keyboard plugged into my computer via usb, and you can turn it on as an input in Maschine. Everything else is based on plugins running inside of the Maschine software.

It's got me thinking too. As has Violence that I was browsing last night. But I already have thousands of sounds... :S

Edit: Six hundred dollars? Don't think I can justify that having just forked out for the studio. :D
