+1 - PLEASE N.I. - sort it out and make a proper page for Maschine templates, this situation is ridiculous and it brings your product down. Yes I know I can 'search thread' - IT'S A MESS! :/

i have made a mapping for the Traktor 2 Sample Decks.

    Page 1: FX UNIT 3 / 4

Page 2: Filter / Volume (Shift)

    Group A 1-8: Play / Load / Clear / Save

    Group A 8-16: Trigger

    Buttons:

    Note Repeat: Shift
Snap: Change C to Sample / Track / Live input
Auto Write: Change D to Sample / Track / Live input
    Master Vol: Loop Recorder Dry/Wet
    Tempo: Loop Recorder size
    Restart: Loop Recorder / Undo
    Play: Loop Recorder / Play
    Rec: Loop Recorder / Record
    Erase: Loop Recorder / Delete

    (Press Pads 1-4 to load from Track A to C and 4-8 to load from B to D / 1Pad = 1 Slot)

    Scene: load from Deck
    Pattern: load from Recorder
    Pad Mode: load from List
    Navigate: Clear Sample
    Duplicate: Save Sample

I hope some people have use for this. Download with NCM and TSI

Sparksta - Thank you so much for this excellent mapping!

Everything is working except the loading of the Loop recorder in a sample deck (using the "Pattern" button and a pad nothing happens).

Please let me know if you have any suggestions - Thanks again!

List or area like the KontrolX1 area would be really nice.

I was really digging on the Instant Gratification mapping for the MIDI fighter, so I decided to set up a template for Maschine. Its very bare bones, and only duplicates the functionality of the MIDIFighter itself, but I have labeled each of the pads with the effect from the djtechtools.com Instant Gratification mapping.

You'll need to load this template, then grab the .tsi file from djtechtools.com, and set the MIDI IN to the Maschine controller. It is already set up on MIDI channel 3, just like the MIDI Fighter is, and you can go through the four banks using the A B C D buttons. All the super combos seem to work, however, I have not been able to get the bank switch action to work (the top four buttons) although I believe they are mapped with the correct MIDI note.

This also means that any mapping created for the MIDI fighter will work with this template (although you may want to change the names of the pad functions, to remind yourself that its a different .tsi file that it is controlling.

    Hey folks...
i own maschine and ableton and im still trying to find the perfect template to control ableton with the maschine..
i use the mackie control template from jb 2010 and it works awsome..
only problem i got is when i switch to the ablton live template from NI i cant trigger the clips/scenes any more...

is there a way to get them both to work or can i just use one of them?

or what would be even better how do i integrate the clip/scene trigger pads in the mackie template cause i got 6 unused gourps there..

i tryed to make it myself but i totaly failed..

    hope u can help me..

    Cheers

Fragmented's Maschine 4 Live works well if you are more interested in controlling abletons GUI's than launching clips

    http://blog.paulbeynon.com/ableton-live-8-2-maschine-template-version-1-0/

Mate of mine wrote this a little while ago if anyones interested 8)

    1. Ableton Live 8.2 Maschine Template Version 1.0
Okay, so I’ve spent about five hours mapping Maschine’s group outputs and scene controls for use with Ableton Live. The template consists of a group which contains the channels for the Maschine plugin, scene control, group audio outputs, auxiliary audio outputs. The template also features transport and mixer control maps to Maschine’s default MIDI control template.
    Ableton Live & Maschine Template
Ableton Live 8.2 Template for Maschine 1.6 (10)

    http://blog.paulbeynon.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Screen-shot-2011-04-23-at-3.40.23-AM.png

    • Tracks
    o Plugin: The Maschine Plugin
    o Scenes: Scene Control
    o Grp A – Grp H: Group A to H audio output.
    o Aux 1 & 2: Group Aux Outputs 1 & 2

    • Scene Control
o This is done by sending MIDI notes to Maschine. This can be done in real time so it allows for complex scene changes by sequencing their corresponding notes.
o In Live, clips 1 to 8 trigger Maschine Scenes 1 to 8. If you look in Clip 1, you will see that C -2 triggers Scene 1, C# – 2 triggers Scene 2, through to G# -2 which triggers Scene 8. If you add a new scene at the end, then you can trigger this using A-2
o You can also trigger scene changes from a MIDI keyboard by pressing the corresponding key. Just be aware that in order for this to work, the Scene Channel will need to be armed to record.

    • Auxiliaries
    • Two common Auxiliary outs are configured In addition to Sends and Returns on each Group’s track within Live.
    • These are accessed using Macros 7 & 8 on each group.
    • If you would like to send additional audio from sounds, for example, you can configure this in the Output section of the Sound. Simply set up Aux 1 to route to Out 16 and Aux 2 to route to Out 15.

I know his template but the macki control of jb 2010 also got drum rack and makro mappings...
so im pretty happy with that..

my main problem in i cant trigger clips without changing the midi preferences in ableton to maschine controller for the ableton live template of ni..
is there a way to make them work together?

That has to do with Live's limitation of only allowing one control surface utilizing a remote midi script at one time. So you'd have to combine different templates together kinda like how jb2101 made his templates.

Or just use Griid for launching clips in Live.

Maschine is extremely intuitive to use as a MIDI controller. The stumbling block you face has to do with Live requiring remote MIDI scripts, not Maschine.

    Hey Guys,

A little off topic, but I'm hoping you can help as I'm interested in Mapping also...

I've been using the Maschine in my live shows pretty much just with samples and pre made loops that i've done...

But i want to be able to use it through Logic and control each channel with whatever i put in them...

I've seen mapping software like "renoise" but i have absloutely no idea on how to map it!

    Pleasssse help :S
