So no surprises. No feedback whatsoever (see my quote). Disappeared ... Just who is number one?

I just want to add that I too have this problem. Midi stops sending after random periods and I am on Windows 10. Latest updates to both Maschine and Windows.

I only solved this by using the onboard midi ports on the Maschine Studio. What a joke =/

I Can only suggest to use a midi thru work around. i've got maschine mk2 midi out to a kenton pro solo triggering a mutable instrument Braids on channel 2 and using the kentons midi thru to trigger my microbrute on channel one. seems to be a decent work around for now but i can't believe this bug is still there.

    Hello all;
After trying a Graphite 49 USB keyboard, an Arturo Analog Lab mini keyboard and my Axiom Pro 49 board I came up with the same issues. I am running IMac OS Sierra 10.12.4
    2.5 GHz Intel Core i5

and I never had any issues until I upgraded from El Capitan and I am also running the newest version of Machine 2.6. So long story short, my only fix was to start a new project, did not save the Reactor blocks bank i was using and boom no hang ups. i did not restart maschine. I simply created a new project from scratch and no hang ups.

Please check the thread. This is about a Windows only issue with specific steps to reproduce (when using more than one midi out port).

Just basic stuff. You have the latest drivers? Upgraded to the latest firmware for your devices? Anyway please start another thread should you need to discuss this further so we can stick to topic here. Thanks.

Bump. Is this fixed in 2.6.5?
If not this should be listed as a known issue.

I decided to start controlling my synths with maschine and its nice macro/CC features.
I have my sound modules / keyboard plugged on my iConnectmidi4+.

    Win 10 , Maschine 2.6.9.

I cannot play more than 20 seconds before maschine stop sending any midi notes.
Like everyone here, if i restart the SW it works again.
I also have studio one / reaper / tracktion that does not have this problem at all.

I just found this thread and cannot believe this bug i so old !

    I'll try to registry thing.

EDITED : 15 minutes after modifying the registry, so far so good :)

We shouldn't have to edit registry crap. They need to fix this bug. I don't trust the registry hack. This has been a bug for so long.

    I have a similar bug.
Using only one MIDI Out port on my Audio Interface.
I send several MIDI out messages to different MIDI channels.
After some time playing Maschine stops sending MIDI messages (including sync) and the only thing that helps is disabling and enabling again MIDI device in settings.
    Lenovo,
    Windows 10,
    UR44,
    Maschine 2.6.10

Could be a power management issue. Make sure "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is unchecked for all USB hubs (on the power management tab of their properties) in Device Manager.

You may be connecting only one midi port, but you need to ensure that Maschine has only the one midi port enabled in preferences.
If you only have one midi port selected in Maschine, then whatever you are seeing, is not this bug.

Checked all USB devices in Device Manager. Nothing is set to "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

It's not a power management issue.

Just found out about this bug today whilst helping a mate try to get his Bass Station 2 working.
I can't believe this is an issue with any DAW these days. That sort of bug should have been seen and fixed straight off the bat!

It is indeed pretty pathetic the OP's bug has not been fixed, and it's been happening long before he started this thread. Years...

Anyway please check the first post, it's definitely this bug? You are using multiple MIDI outs and it's Windows I assume otherwise it's probably a different bug. It would be nice for the record to state your configuration.

EDIT - never mind - I see you have a separate thread for this, it's probably not the same issue - anyway over to that thread:

I am guessing it is the same issue most have been having with midi.
Get midi setup routing done, synth plays and responds to midi in/out, for a few minutes or cycles of the loop, then doesn't respond any longer.

This problem has persisted over 3 Maschine hardware generations, a recent firmware update, even a Windows OS upgrade, and NI still hasn't bothered to fully implement the MIDI standard, which predates the company itself. It's really kind of inexcusable; especially at the price point. Clearly they have no intention of addressing this issue and hope that the complainer base remains small.
