Maschine version 2 browser 2 nightmare

    I've just "upgraded" to Maschine version 2 (software.) I had spent a LOT of time assigning "fave" tags to my favourite samples in 1.8 so was pretty ****** off to find these tags had disappeared in version 2. I have 12 expansion packs so this was a lot of samples.

    To make matters even worse, it seems the factory library and expansion packs are now "read only." You cannot add your own tags in the browser and assign them to the factory library and expansion packs. This is a REALLY backward step.

    Is there a work around for this?... Does version 1.8.2 work in Pro Tools 11HD (64 bit?)

    HATING version 2!!!!!!!!

    Yep, everything in the "NI" section is read only.

    No, there is no AAX version of 1.8.2 - Pro Tools 11 HD was only released this summer.

    Yes, I'm not a fan of the new browser as is currently. Although you could not rename Komplete instruments and FX in 1.8, you could rename samples and expansion stuff. I had all my expansions renamed EX:VINTAGE HEAT etc. so they all appeared next to each other.

    I put in a feature request to have a "FAV" button above an LCD for the browser. Toggling "FAV" on and off would filter your results by items marked as favourite, and SHIFT + "FAV" marks the current item as a favourite.

    A "Fav" button would do it. i added a "fave" tag in 1.8 so I could mark all my favourites.

    I hate the new Browser to
    i have 110 gb Drumkits all Kits are proffesional tagt like 2013->Urban Fire> Clap
    and now its not possible anymore to browse my own libary by subtypes like "Kick,Snare,Clap"
    no i have to select a bank first and then i can only see the samples from a Bank.
    and the new Browser is very very Slow in 1.8 everything is super fast when im scroling though my Sounds and now im feeling like in Slowmotion.
    Why the is no option in preferences to see the Old browser from 1.8 and get the fast workflow back.
    the new browser is the only thing i dont like in 2.0.

    does somebody have this Slowmotion feelings too with the new Browser???

    I had a "*****" tag. It would appear at the top of the browser.
