    hi there,
After purchasing F1 and mapping it as sequencer for Traktor 3, I am missing one more controller:)
Well, F1 is brilliant piece of hardware, and utilizing it as a sequencer in Traktor is a charm, but I want to run 2 decks and 2 remix decks, and with one F1 controller that's not working well (switching between remix decks).
So I was thinking about getting another F1 to use it for playing samples/loops, capturing, etc, but what about getting a midi twister or Maschine for doing that extra task (let's say I would switch it for sequencer task only).
I have no experience with NI Maschine, although I broke all my teeth on Akai MPC (from MPC60 to MPC2500:), spent over dozen years sampling and sequencing music on those, I understand Maschine does similar things, it just need to be plugged into computer.
Anyway I do not want to go 'producer' route and use Maschine as a beat/groove box, I felt I burnt out in that field:), so primarily Maschine job will be working with Traktor.
I need to add at the moment, I own 2 NI's Kontrol 1 (mk1 and mk2), NI's F1, Allen and Heath Xone K2 (mapped as an internal mixer djm800 alike) and finally Denons SC 2000 (because I like to have a jogwheel and pitchshift being oldschool DJ and learnt the creed on vinyl).
So there is a lot of midi controllers already, 5 all together:), but what I was really missing is a sequencer where I could record midi CC and other things on the fly when performing. I think Maschine can do that. (please correct me if I am wrong)
I watched dozens of vids and manuals about Maschine and Midi Twister, and from what I gathered so far they both have their pros&cons.

The Maschine can record midi as sequencer, had midi In/Out, 16 Pads, 2 screens and I can grab old mk1 for about 100 EUR second hand.(although I am considering mk2 also second hand, they go on ebay for 150 EUR average)
It is NI made so I believe it can deliver better utilisation for NI product (traktor pro 3).
On another hand it's big and chunky which is against my main idea to have small controllers, easy to pack in the bag and go on the road (I used to travel a lot before the c-vid19 situation)
Midi Twister, is tiny, takes 1/4 space, pricewise, second hand it's similar cost to Maschine (mk1 or mk2), it is very well thought over and built like a tank, and with so many users mapping it could be the one. It also has sequencer as a mapping, but it's missing pads (although I would use F1 for finger drumming or sample/loops firing, and midi twister just for sequencing), it has no midi in/out (DIN), no screen, etc...

Anyway big request for anyone of you who have a chance working with both in such a situation (remix decks/sequencer)
to advise me on my choice, which one would fit better in my setup and why ?
    Pros and cons..
Your input is very much appreciated

    best regards
