maschine W/ mixer Traktor

Hello
My fiance and i both mix live and have been looking into the native instruments maschine. My question " it possible for her to be using traktor , vdj , itch .. whatever software and be mixing as usual but i can do effects and may even lay over beats live on the maschine with those beautiful beat pads ? "

I can see this working if her laptop's output and your laptop's output are mixed separately into a mixer.

 

Ah i see, now what if we are on the same laptop ? can she just use traktor and since the maschine is a native instruments device can it still make beats over the music or provide effects or will this entitle two laptops ?

i was lookin into the same concept, i have a hercules mixer and i was wondering if i can mix and lay over beats with my maschine mikro, i havent been able to make them come out of my speakers at the same time, any help wit tht yet?
