    Hello,

    Merry Christmas Native world !

I'd like to sync my TD3 with Maschine. I watched several vids but still can't make it play together.
    Anyone ready to help ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Z.

If you are using Midi Out from your Maschine mk3 connect to Midi In of the Td-3. Make sure Midi Clock is being sent from Maschine settings. Enable Midi sync on the Td-3 (Back and Write/Next buttons together then Midi (D) key. It should work then.

Ok thanks a lot for your fast help. I forget to mention i use mk1 but it doesn't change anything.
For the moment i don't use any midi cables but a usb cable and maschine recognizes the td3 so i think i'm in the right direction.
    Will try again today.
    Thanks

The setup in Maschine looks good, But have you set in Behringer Synth Tool, the Midi Channel and Clock Source to USB.
Assuming that this is you first hardware synth and I tell you, I thought meanwhile 2 times that my TD-3 was broken,

    - I would recommed first. to check thedoes the TD-3 play sounds, program it manually or use Synthtool to porgam a pattern and listen with a Headset.

    - connect the TD3 to you sound card and see if you can record sound from it.

    - You have to press Start on the TD-3 after you started play the project in Maschine, if you so play the sound in Machine and play the sound again you have to enable to hit Play again.

    - When I though the TD-3 was broken, the Clear Botton on the TD-3 did stick for some reason, Just pressing Clear and Play again was solving it.

In generally Midi Out to the TD-3 over USB should work fine, I would no recommend to configure Midi IN and Out because this can cause mess.

When it doesn't play sound from the TD-3 look to the LED, Clear and Start can help, some button may stick.

I may take a day or 2 until you get sorted it, and you probbaly run into the saaame issue again

    Hi ze303,

    Thanks for your reply.
First of al, the TD3 works just fine in standalone, no prob with that.

I just can't seem to sync it with maschine.
As you told me i used Synth tool to set my clock source to USB and the midi channel to 1
    Still doesn't work.
So i have a couple of questions.
Do i have to set up my TD3 in Midi or in USB (back+write/next then MIDI or USB) ?I tried both but none of them work.
Also in maschine, how do i have to set the input & output in my sound section ? I can see the TD3 available in output but not in input.
I tried a bit of every propositions there too, without any luck ...

    That's what I meant ;)
Consider to use start, clear buttons when it seems to not work.
