maschine with VDJ LE

I recently bought a maschine mikro and was hoping to use it live with my virtual dj LE (a herccules mk4 mixer) but both will not play or come at the the same time? any help

 

are you running as a VST inside Virtual DJ or stand alone?

 

im only using my hercules mixer with VDJ

 

I'm guessing your Hercules controller soundcard isn't multi client so it can either run Virtual DJ or Maschine but not both.

 

yes that is my problem, do you think getting a soundcard like a traktor audio 6 or 10 would help? cuz both my hercules and maschine mikro have midi cables

 

For sure. You could even use Traktor Audio 2 and run that into your Hercules inputs. save some cash.

 

alright, but how would my setup be after? like wat plugs into wat?

 

Take what you have to your local music shop.
Tell them what kind of setup you'd like to work with and they'll sell you what you need and should also help you rig it all up the first time and get everything running sweet.

Take notes if you have to when it comes to setup.
Take a photo with your phone of what cables are going where.

Sounds like that's the kind of advice you need rather than folk telling you via a forum

Dude, just load Maschine as a VST in VDJ. Problem solved. Read link above.

Full version of VDJ required but probably alot easier than getting multiple cards and syncing via midi.
