Maschine won't open when Pro Tools 8 LE is installed

    I gotta MacBook Pro, running Lion. Whenever I install Pro Tools 8 LE and update it with 8.0.5 Maschine won't open at all. I know this might be more of a question for Avid but I was seeing if anyone had the same problem out there.

    i know im running protools le 8 with maschine fine im on win 7 have you checked too see if others on the avid forums are experiencing them same issue it could be a problem with lion.

    i think this might be to do with the Pro Tools Audio Setup. i had the same problem with Reaktor where i teach. the tech guy contacted NI tech support, and go an answer - which i can't remember - and it fixed the issue.

    are you saying Maschine won't open in Standalone or in Pro Tools? or both?

    It won't open in stand alone. Maybe I'll just call tech support. It's a damper for sure. I depend on both programs
