    Hello folks,

    Anyone used MachineR (machine mapping) for controlling Reason? Any good?

    "MaschineR" is worth every penny. Using Maschine Studio in "MaschineR mode" with Reason 8 is really fantastic.
    MaschineR is the only "reason" i don´t sell Maschine. The new Step Sequencer mode is also a lot of fun.
    Maschine mutated to the ultimate luxury controller for Propellerhead´s Reason.

    I've come super close to pulling the trigger on MaschineR a few times now but keep settling for my current workaround:
    - Open Maschine and Reason as standalone apps
    - Sync Midi Clock between the two
    - Send Midi messages through Virtual Out to a dedicated Kong instance

    My reasoning for this setup is that it allows me to leverage the quickness of Maschine with loading/editing samples while programing just about everything else in Reason. I'd be curious to hear more about how people are using MaschineR and what your workflow looks like. Is anyone using any part of Maschine (the "DAW" part) for any particular feature they just can't let go of or are you just using Maschine purely as a controller and creating 100% within Reason?

    Hey guys, thanks for the reply. I have been studying so haven't had time to check in...

    I bought the maschine studio two days ago and have installed MaschineR - its good to hear that others find it works. I am going to work through the manual that came with MaschineR as I tried to use it last night and didn't know where to start.

    Oh, and man, Maschine Studio is unbelievable! My only worry is that they come out with a new one soon to compete with push 2 and ill have shot myself in the foot... anyone see a new one coming?
