    Hi guys,

I made my own patch (preset) in Razor. I used it within a song in Maschine. Everytime I load the Maschine's project, Razor loads the right settings, but it says "int", and is not displaying the corresponding name of the preset.
I have the right sound so I have no real problem, but it appears to be not really working, though. Then, I do not really need my own presets anyway as I would rather make a patch from scratch and save it via the Maschine's project.

So is it normal for Machine to not load (my own) presets?

Maschine doesn't save patches that you make in 3rd party applications like razor, absynth, massive, omnisphere, etc. Save the patch in your folder for say, razor patches and when you open up maschine and load your project just open up razor and load your patch for that specific product. Everybody has learned that lesson the hard way at least once!

if you are on a Mac, make sure you use the VST version of a plugin. if you do, you will stand more chance of saving your Project and then opening it and you tweaked synth patches will sound the same.

having said that, it is best to get in the habit of saving your 'Preset' in Maschine and i would also recommend using save as in the plugin as well - especially if you have created a great patch.

fwiw, i don't have any issues with Razor because:

1/ i use the VST version
2/ i have updated Reaktor to 5.7.1 and
3/ i have also updated to the latest version of Razor

    back to the op's question

@Kamla12, having said that Razor does have a little quirk in that when you twaek a Snapshot it changes from the Ensemble Snapshot list to the Razor 'Instrument' Snapshot list. you need to click on Ens- Razor Ensemble and uncheck Linked.

when you say you made your own you make your patches. do you save them as a 'Preset' in Reaktor or as a 'Snapshot' in Razor? or do you save it as a Maschine Preset. it would be good if you could clarify what you do ;)
