Are there any known workarounds? This is a pretty terrible bug TBH...

Well, it's not a bug. NI haven't written code that will automatically transfer user presets to Maschine presets. Even the Komplete presets may have been done manually for all we know (sometimes the different presets have different controls automated etc, which wouldn't happen 'automatically').

But anyway, there aren't any workarounds.

And a +1 to the idea

It's a design flaw, arguably a bug: Maschine should really be interrogating Massive through an exposed API to find out about the Massive presets rather than reading them off the filesystem.

NI aren't known for their polished execution, though :/

Well it's not an error in the code; just that the code does not exist. In any case, the code would be welcome.

I've got a sneaking suspicion that NI just had someone go through the Komplete presets and save them all individually as Maschine presets; which is why it may take some implementin'

although.. I am thinking about altering my workflow to where all my vsti's are loaded inside of maschine and then the audio is routed out to ableton.. we'll see how that goes. It will still be a pain in the neck having to save my sounds twice.

with traktor 2.5 out I'm hoping maschine gets a bit of love!

    cheers NI!

agree 100% -- i've had to resort to some pretty clever usage of osx's "automator" application to batch save presets, however it isn't exactly reliable. i would love this feature, but honestly, i've already converted all my presets :x lol

How exactly have you been doing it with automator?

Just record yourself saving the preset, then copy that recording x amount of times (where x is the number of presets you want to save), save it as an application and let it rip.
