Massive 1.3.1 crashes logic?

ok I know this is not a new problem and I have tried all the fixes I have found on the internet but none of them work. I have sent a ticket to NI however we all know how long they take to reply to anyone. So has anyone found a fix for this problem?

Also I have updated all my other programes and yes logic is up to date. I have uninstalled massive and reinstalled. I do not really want to uninstall my whole NI as it is a very long process to install and then update it all again however I may have to as on my previous install before i upgraded my HD it worked fine...

 

What OSX are you using?

Also, have you opened Massive in standalone mode yet? More often then not, opening an NI instrument in standalone mode after updating can solve some problems.

With regards to logic, have you tried creating a new project file and open an instance of Massive in that?

snow leopard 10.6.8, yep it opens in stand alone, and yea done that with logic, ive uninstalled massive and reinstalled and it still does it

Run in stand alone mode in 32 and 64 bit. Also, rescan your plugins within Logic.

 

Did you find a fix yet? How quickly into loading massive does it crash? Yeah, like bigdaddywagon said, have logic validate the plugins again. Have you tried temporarily deleting/removing your preferences files for massive/logic? Crashes like that definitely shouldn't be happening cuz...I'm also using Logic in snow leopard and just the other day I had a project with 8 separate instances of massive initialized at the same time and had no issues at all.

I have done all of this I have even reinstalled osx and ni komplete 8 twice and the problem still persists, it did use to work before I changed my hd to a 1tb western digital one from the standard 250gb one that came with my mac. and it doesn't just happen in Logic I have parallels installed and it happens on fruity loops aswell. it crashes as soon as I try to add voices, I have a live session with NI support team and they took my crash logs and have no idea why it is happening.

also everything works fine in stand alone mode both in 32bit and 64bit

 

I'm not really sure where to post this but all I have is my setup for 1.1.3 and the update to 1.1.5 but 1.1.15 keeps crashing and for some reason I cant update to 1.3.1 can someone help me? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but its not working.

nope no fix has been found, the support team are in contact with me trying to figure out what is happening. I have even installed NI on a new harddrive and the same thing is happening...
