I'm using Massive 1.5.9 VST3 version with Ableton Live 11.0.12 and an Ableton Push 2. Typically with monophonic hardware synthesizers my experience has been that if more than one key is pressed, the newest MIDI note is played, and that if the newest key is then released, the synthesizer will go back to playing the newest note played that is still being held. However, with Massive, if two keys are being held and the newest key pressed is released, no note is heard, despite the remaining key still being held.

Is there a setting in Massive that will allow it to resume playing a MIDI note that is still being held after a newer key is pressed and released?

Under the voicing tab you set it to monophonic and glide and triller on to have the same behavior.
