Massive not loading and External plug ins not found

@ MFruru.. i know the answer to this question is probably "Yes".. but i'll ask it. when you installed Maschine, you did choose the installer for Mac's right ("YESSS" ).. i have Macs too, but i keep my music based stuffs on Windows.

for the Native Instruments installs, i used to have a lot of problems with some of the expansion packs & other stuff.. then i realized you have to go through a process of installing, updating.. & some other stuff.. if you are using Maschine 2.0 now.. there is an update you have to get specifically for Massive (its on the NI website).. did you do that.?? i keep all of my installers & serial numbers (updated) on an external hard drive.. i install, then go to Service Center & plug in the Serial number.. BEFORE i open Maschine..

i've reinstalled this stuff a trillion times now becoz i cleaned out my computer & upgraded to Windows 8. if you haven't already done it try uninstalling Massive, reinstalling it.. & plugging in the Serial number FIRST in Service Center.. Before you open Maschine (& activating it in the software) .. Service Center will prompt you to update, & download & install... it goes through a few steps.. it drove me crazy at first with the expansions, but once i went through the full process.. i get everything to open with no problems

 

The 32 bit exe worked for me as well. Wow users know more about this than NI support. Thanks Lethal!!!

 

@some1cool Thank you so much for your help! Turns out i'm just to dumb to read directions. I never installed kontakt -___- I know what a rookie mistake... I'm just happy it's finally working : D. Thanks again!

 

Yep I am having similar problems. Have tried everything. Still no luck. Imageline harmor wont show up in plugin manager, strange thing that happened was when I scanned the Imageline folder , only the demo plugins showed up.

 

OK problem fixed. I am not sure what exactly did it but here is what I did. I uninstalled maschine 2 , then reinstalled original, then reinstalled the 2.4 update. I only activated after installing update not after original. I then downloaded harmor and installed it to the directory I made for the maschine to scan. I installed the program and the VST. I then ran harmor in standalone mode before running maschine in standlalone mode. And presto it scanned and picked it up. Seems like a big piss around but it worked. Hope this helps.
