I sent FULL SYSTEM SPECS to SUPPORT

Even they are not having a succesful time remedying my /our issue here... Seems as if Massive is unstable in alot of peoples systems..

I have surmised that massive isnt comp. with my delta sound card..Massive doesn't even work in CUBASE sx. everything else works like a charm from K-6 standalone or vsti... I STILL have not solved it and have never used MASSIVE up to this point, I have had K-6 for about 5 months. I am really really bummed coz it looks like an incredible tool....

If you're able to run other N.I. Standalones it can't be an audio driver problem, since they're sharing the same code when it comes to audio device access. Anyway, I would have recognised those problems with my Audiophile 2496 that is using delta drivers as well, so I guess it must be something else. Have you ever tried using massive sounds within Kore without opening the synths User Interface? Is the "about window" showing SSE support for your CPU?

i still seem to have Massive running ok under windows 7 aside LFO automation, sometimes it does the automation properly and other times it seems to do what it feels like, or gets a lil sluggish and misses a bit. im guessin this might be down to my system spec tho so hopefully gonna change that sometime soon. the bass that comes out of massive is seriously second to none, i am well impressed by the power of this thing! being a fidget house producer bass is my main thing and Massive delivers everytime! now if i can just get the LFO tight i'll be sorted!

    I do not have KORE

If it didn't come with K-6 I don't have it, cept absynth...... Running in Kore is a good suggestion but wouldn't remedy the standalone issues.... which i really need at this juncture..

Sure, but it helps detecting the problem, if massive sounds are running within Kore (no Massive GUI opened) it might be a problem with your graphics driver.

never thought of the graphics card

That's a good point,, I wonder... hmm... how would I figure that out? But when I change instruments on the file menu in MASSIVE, to a different instrument, then it doesn't crash, it shows the midi keys communicating, but no sound,, when I try by default, and hit a midi key, it crashes... bam! but it clicks first!... I wish I knew what to do, as I would be in business... till then,, I think NI owes some redemption to me / us.... as how much is MASSIVE standalone? probably not so cheap.

As I said, by trying the Massive sounds with closed gui within Kore first...
I had a few graphic glitches within Massive, nothing serious, but it shows that it's pretty much dependent on the graphics driver...

Checked all Audio and MIDI settings? Having updated all drivers to the latest version and installed all needed windows updates? Other than that Massive relies on the processors SSE Extension and maybe crashes if CPU isn't initialised properly...

RECENT FEEDBACK FROM TECH about massive crash

"This issue seems to be caused by a bug in the current version of massive when using it in Cuase 5,sx,sl. Thanks for your report. We have referred this issue to our developers and wil ltry to fix it in a future version, but we cannot recommend a workaround at this time. VangelisNative Instruments Support Team"

that's great. future versions mean I will never beable to use Massive nor will others.

Will NI redeem us users that have issues with the NEW MASSIVE? 1.2?

IT costs 200$ to buy MASSIVE standalone, so I would have to conclude that I have lost 200$ in NI software that will never be used. not cool.

I know exactly how your feel and so do many others. This is unthinkable in any other field than software: to pay and get nothing. A pure insult. Or is it fraud? At least it is a heavy case of ignorance when this issue has existed for a very long time and in August 2009 support told me that they are working on it.

I'm running win7 64 bit, Cubase 5 64 bit, and i'm experiencing frequent crashes with Massive when I change presets (while an existing voice is still active).

Very much hoping the patch can address this issue :)

can anyone from NI shed some light on when you think the 1.1.5 update will be dropping? it's been on the beta testing phase for ages now. are you getting anywhere with the fixes or is this why it's taking so long? i know this question has been asked loads of times but i cant seem to find an answer anywhere.....

Due to logistics, it will come out when the Kore update (in public beta at the moment) comes out. The same with the GR update.

    Hi dunno,

Massive 1.1.5 is part of the Kore Public Beta test right now, so if everything turns out fine within these tests, we'll release it asap.

    @tintala:

could you give me some info about your system?

    - which Cubase version are you using?
    - which delta soundcard model?
    - which OS version?

    thanks
    Jens

Same problem with Massive crashing under Cubase 5.1.1, I have full updates to OS (WinXP SP3), Audio Drivers and NI Synths - using a Tascam FW1082.

Apparently according to responces from NI tech support they are well aware of these issues :

but when asking them for timescales on fixing the issues, they said they coudn't help!

I can use Massive, but it is very unreliable and when I does crash it completely kills Cubase!
