Massive User Presets in Maschine 1.8

Hello,

I have upgraded to Maschine 1.8 and installed Massive (and run standalone). In the browser in Maschine only the Massive factory presets (e.g. Massive Exp 1 & 2, Massive threat etc) are showing.

I had assumed that my User presets would also show in the machine 1.8 browser…is this normal behaviour?

May be going to preferences in Maschine and rescaning "Libraries" will help.

 

It is normal behaviour; NI created Maschine presets for the factory stuff.

 

won't you just save your own presets though?

it would be nice if you could point it to your own banks i suppose but it's no biggy to open and save.

 

So you can't use your own massive presets in maschine?

 

you can use them, but you have to open them in Massive.

you can then re-save as a Maschine preset.
