HI all, new to this side of the forums, as a new massive user!
Im super happy with my purchase, its really for me a pleasure to use, with very satisfying results!

My Question to u all, is Since I dont have kore, will I not be able to use the kore style database?
When I first opened it, It realised I had no kore, and said something about the database..(cant remember)
and now, I can just browse through all the sounds, but not by category as with the kore style database..

One more thing, I couldnt seem to move my massive lyb files
out of my documents folder it defaulted to..
I have a seperate drive where i keep all my gigs and gigs of NI lyb files, and want to move it there..The Default location was sort of locked and would let me add a location,
but would not let me remove the old(default) one..Any help would be great.

    Thanks in advance

    Welcome :)

As far as I know, you should still be able to browse by category; I haven't heard of that issue before.

As to the factory defaults, no- they're there for good. And, the factory content's NOT in My Documents; it's in C:/Program Files/Common Files/Shared Content/Sounds/Massive. You CAN move all the factory patches to a directory of your own choosing if you wish, though.

    Here's a quick way for you to test if your categories are working;

Go to the browser, and click on the magnifying glass until the attributes appear. Select reed instruments in the instrument column. If the browser's working correctly, you should have seven entries in the name field.

If it isn't working, try rebuilding your database (File/Options)

    Thank you,
    rebuilding did the trick!
I think it was a messup at the initial opening of massive.
I got a similar kore message when I opened battery for the first time...
    thanks tho!
