I have a song loaded that was created pre logic 10.5 with massive x in it. The song still crashes as soon as I click on the instrument or, play a midi note. I don't want to sound like one of those angry commentators but it's to the point now where I just don't trust this plug-in enough to use it anymore.

    Hey Matt,
This kind of crashes usually come from either 2 things.
First thing to check is in your Mac's system preferences, under Security & Privacy. Make sure that Logic Pro has Full Disk Access.
If you still experience crashes, you can follow the steps in this article (even if the title doesn't match the description exactly) : Some Presets are Missing in MASSIVE X
If that also didn't work, then please get in touch with us through this typeform: https://bit.ly/NISupport_Synth

Thank you kindly for the quick response.
I have just enabled LogicProX "Full Disk Access". Must admit to see that it wasn't already there.
Will let you know how I go.
    Regards,
    Matt

Just following up and letting you know that this is crashing hard again.
Mainly when opening an existing project from LPX 10.5 (on Mojave) and then opening the project on a different system running BigSur and LPX 10.6
Crashes hard on the latter as soon as trying to play a note on the MassiveX track.
Will contact support as soon as I can sort details.

Massive X is not yet supported on Big Sur, and if you have a M1 / Apple Sillicon computer, it is also not supported at the moment.

How long until we are likely to see Big Sur support (at least for Intel) ??

    Hey Matt,
We don't have a date yet. Hopefully by the end of this quarter.

Actually Massive X was confirmed to be compatible with Big Sur today. So if you still experience a crash we'll need to have a closer look, please submit a request through this typeform : https://bit.ly/NISupport_Synth

Scrap that, it is actually working. Maybe something in the latest Big Sur update changed something, as there was no new MX update.
