Seems like they added Rosetta 2 compatibility today by releasing 1.3.3. of Massive X.
I'm not able to install it just yet though. let's give them a couple of hours to properly release/implement it.
Mine’s just installed successfully…
Any changelog available yet?

Yes, in Native Access.
Yeah, should have checked myself.
Here it is:
Well, those are nice news.
Changes list is there, but it does not let me start the download
That will be a symptom of the servers getting smashed by everyone installing it (probably).
You are probably right. I thought maybe I should update Native Acces first or something. I´ll wait.
Weird. Worked fine here.
Maybe their server is frying at the moment.
Just kidding, I doubt that it is. Or is it?
Absolutely fantastic news! Just played around with it for a while, it’s running far better than I‘ve expected. 10 instances in Ableton Live 11 with a 128 samples buffer are using around 30% CPU, Activity Monitor is telling me 75% idle. That’s great, as far as I’m concerned.
I’ve waited so long for this synth. My old MBP was able to run it, but only barely, it was basically unusable. Thank you, NI, for porting it relatively quickly and doing a great job at that. (Can’t wait for the native version )
Wont install here on my mac mini m1.
Still get the message "Installation has been prevented. Massive X currently requires an AVX compatible processor."
Native access updated when i started it and it shows as the new version in native access as well.
Well done NI, you had me fooled for a minute, i thought you had finally fixed it, lol.
same here with my M1 MBP
Do you have Rosetta 2 installed? I think you need that first.
Same issue here, can't install it. Yes, I do have Rosetta 2 installed and am running many other apps successfully under Rosetta 2. I am getting the AVX error too. I even reinstalled Native Access just in case.
Yes, I have. Native Access itself runs only if you have Rosetta 2 installed.
Thanks anyways. Hope for other suggestions.
Same here, won't install on M1 MBP. Refresh, reopen Native Access always that AVX error. Any fix for this?
I guess you could try reinstalling Native Access and make sure you’ve updated Big Sur to the latest version?
Mine just worked though, it became available as an update.
I deleted NA and then re-downloaded and re-installed. It is the same error "Installation has been prevented"!
