OK, I'm something of a n00b with NI stuff, so there's almost certainly something I'm missing but…

Couldn't access Massive presets from within Logic. Someone advised me to launch the standalone version first to catalog them and sure enough that worked.

Next I had the same problem with Massive X – but of course there isn't a standalone version for that.

If I try to manually load presets by navigating down to the right path, I can see the presets but all of the files are greyed out.

If I drag and drop the greyed files from the Finder onto an open Massive X window,, that DOES work, but that's a very clunky solution.

I experimentally saved a couple of user sounds and they show up in the popup menu fine.

Tried reinstalling / restarting etc. Same.

    What am I missing here?

    Hey Mikey,
What is your MacOS ? If it's 10.14 or upper, then go in your Mac's system preferences, under Security & Privacy and make sure to give Full Disk Access to Logic Pro X :

Ywp, that did it. I'm on 10.13 but a quick tweak of the permissions seems to have nailed it. Thanks!
