Massive X scans all presets every time I open a new instance

    Hi,

    I've had a weird issue with Massive X since I bought it last year. Whenever I bring up a new instance of Massive X all of the presets are scanned. This was fine with only the factory presets but since I bought pretty much every 3rd party preset pack I could find it takes about 5-10 minutes to scan every time. It's at the point where I avoid using Massive X because it's a workflow killer waiting for the presets to scan. Anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing that? I'm using Cubase 9.5 Pro and Windows 10 with the latest version of Massive X (installed latest from Native Access). Thanks.

    Jeremy - I opened a ticket back on 9/14 and replied back to the support email with the "NI_Support_Info_Music Studio.zip" file but I haven't had any response from support at all. Is there a way to check on the ticket status? I don't see any way to do that from my NI account. Thanks

    Hy did you manage to resolve this issue? i have the same problem , massive x it rescaning every time i load the plugin ..it dose not matter on wich daw i m it keep rescan all the presets !!! Please let me know ,thnak you

    welcome to the club, I´ve since one of the last updates the same problem, also in Komplete Kontrol (no difference if in CubasePro11 or Stand-alone)
    also when I go in KK 1 result up/down and back again: always he scans all MassiveX User-Content
    that´s interrupts the work so much :(

    For the vast majority of cases, this is caused by wrong permissions for folders or applications.
    If you're on Mac, make sure that the DAW you are using has Full Disk Access in your Mac's system preferences, under Security & Privacy.
    If you're on WIndows, make sure that your DAW is running as administrator.

    and what´s with my Komplete Kontrol-Software in stand-alone? it´s also having this bug since a short time (win10)

    I start Cubase since years as Admin, caused by Steinberg having often problems with x.0 or x.5-Releases and gave that as 1st hint, till the always coming hotfix ;)
