1. Hi everyone,

Apple just released Logic Pro 10.5 for MacOS 10.15. We found out that Crush Pack, Mod Pack, Replika, and Replika XT will crash.

Our teams are currently working on a fix, and we hope to have this out to you as soon as we can!

    Best wishes,
    The NI Team

I just loaded a session from a few weeks ago that uses massive x. Even with 1.3, logic still crashes hard.

I am. Before the upgrade in logic, all NI stuff ran fine.

I did find a workaround. Load a blank session, load massive x, then load song and freeze massive x track. Only way to bounce.

I’m worried because I have 30 cues to lay vocals into and they pretty much all use massive x and replika.

I’m used to waiting with os updates but never with daw updates.

Do you see the warning in NI forum. Just before you login?

They released a Massive X update today that was supposed to correct this issue.

Did you try to open a new session and load Massive X?

Hehe, yeah, I see it now. I don’t visit these forums often because I rarely ever have any problems with NI stuff.

Yes but see my post above about this. New sessions seem to work fine with mx 1.3 sessions Created before nx 1.3 Are crashing

You used to be able to open logic holding the control key which would prevent core audio, and therefore your plugins from loading.

try doing this, opening your session(s), removing Massive X, saving these sessions as a new file, close Logic and re-open it normally.

Then open the new sessions you just created, and load Massive X back up again - see if that works

this would solve everything if I hadn't made custom sounds or tweaked the presets in the song. Thus, I can't do that.

ok, found a workaround. import the track with massive x into a new logic song. open, save preset, close. open song with the track you just imported, remove massive x, load massive x back in, load preset. it works.
