Experiencing major CPU spikes with Massive X, using Logic Pro X 10.4.8 on Catalina. Only able to open 6 or 7 instances at a time. (so 2 or 3 instances in a large session makes the session crawl.)

This is a on a 2019 nMP 16 core w 192 RAM. No other synth I have seems to be behaving the way this one does. The same session on a 2013 cylinder 6 core (high sierra) in the screenshot below. For some reason Massive X is behaving worse on a nMP Catalina than the cylinder.(First screenshot cylinder and second screenshot the nMP). Update and older version behave the same.

Any thoughts as to why? Support ticket sent. thx

Similar issue here on Cubase 10.5.10. When I open a session with Massive X instances they either have no sound or have an altered version of the preset I was using even though all parameters in the UI look the same as before. Renders the synth pretty much unusable.

Same. Full install of MX and factory library, can load presets, and hear the preview. Just hear a tone. Preset library empty too. Mac Catalina . Thanks for any input.

    Hello All,
I've been having an issue with Massive and FL Studio since install.
It appears that depending on the insert routing half of the FX plugins within Massive cause an issue and puts a massive DC offset on sound output that won't go away without reloading the FLP.

This happened with my last PC which was massively outdated so I assumed that was the issue but fresh installs of both FL and Massive on a completely new build well above minimum specs and the issue still persists.

Here is a video of what happens.

    Any ideas?

Massive X file version 1.3.0.176 won't load in neither Reaper nor WaveForm Free. WaveForm free says the DLL is broken

I tried installing it via Native Access and I also tried installing it via the Demo installer, but it just doesn't work

Thanks Matt. Actually, I just wanted to chime into one of the requests for wavetable import for Massive X, so, it's not that important or urgent (even though I'd really like to see it implemented, of course).

I have had good luck running Massive X in Komplete Kontrol, using
    • VMPK - Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard by Pedro Lopez-Cabanillas, combined with
    • LoopMIDI v1.0.16.27 by Tobias Erichsen
They are either open source or freeware, and can be fetched at https://vmpk.sourceforge.io/ and http://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html, respectively.

Tobias (LoopMIDI) also provides a suite of useful MIDI utilities, including a network-based MIDI capability.

    I hope this helps!
