    as a workaround could you create a "pre-master" group, put your usual master fx on that and then automate the fx on that (with patterns and clips), and then route that to the Master?

    Yes, this workaround works fine! Whats with automate for example the filter plugin? There is no knob for module the volume or the mix of it...

    one problem I have with that is it can mess up the routing you have in place in your project. If you load another group it will keep the groups routing but not the songs...
