Master EQs or Custom user EQ

Mixing externally or internally a choice of E.Q.s to improve sound dynamics or a custom user E.Q. to tweak to taste.

 

I agree, each eq would have its own curve selection to choose from...that would be dope!!!

Mp3's are so convenient, having a eq/filter to tweak the compressed format?

 

The sound is very warm and you have to set the master volume to the actual 0.0 dB and have high quality mp3s or wav pr whatever type of file you have. I also figured out that keeping the EQ flat it works out the best.

 

I do remixes and blends and they come out great

 

You have to gently boost, you can also change the eq type in the settings. In my opinion, the eq I use is the z2 and is more a surgcial one very aggresive. When I eq, the most I will use is half to 3/4 and my tracks come out the way I want to.

These differences could be hard to spot in clubs and peoples p.a. Systems which have so many variables in enviroment and equipment.

 

Exactly, the reason for Global EQ, is that we often work in different environments, and we need eq settings directly applied to the master. Otherwise it's very unconvinient the entire night my BASS to be on +3 (as starting point) instead of 0, because the current place have some bass issues. They could do even better, with 4 or 5 band eq on the master. Shouldn't be that hard.

Also the audio quality needs to be improved for the entire software. Currently it's not that good, compared even to 2 CDJ 1000mk3 and ext. mixer, traktor is worse. But maybe it's an issue with the soundcard of the Traktor Kontrol s4 mk3.
