As far as I can tell, there's no way for you to keep certain effects constant on the front end of a signal chain while switching through presets. I think it would be useful to have something similar to Master FX but at the beginning of the signal chain so that you can, for example, flip through different presets while still having constant access to a wah, pitch, or drive pedal.

If this functionality is already available, I'd love to hear how people are accomplishing it. Otherwise, this would be something great to integrate into future releases.

If you use GR as a plugin then you can have exactly that.

Thanks for your response. If I understand you correctly, I think there are limitations to this approach depending on the host. For example, if I run two instances of GR back to back in Maschine, messages from my midi controller will only be received on the first instance. Beyond that, as you say, this requires a person to use a host when there are some who simply prefer using it in standalone.

Let me know if I've misunderstood you because if there's a way to do this simply with GR as a plugin that I'm not aware of, I'd love to learn about it. Thanks in advance.

Depends on the host. For example, in Reaper, it's easy to pass-through MIDI data that's sent to the track with the plugin to go through to the next plugin, so you can have two GRs in a row, second one doing the actual sound, the first one always having wah, whammy, whatever.
