Master keeps switching from track to track.

Is there anyway I can manually choose the master track and make it stay that way? I just bought Traktor Scratch Duo and this gives me issues when I am getting ready to mix tracks together.

hi,

it's giving me the same issue, i can't choose the master track, the button is greyed out.

If i press sync, it will sync to 127.84 bpm, but i don't know where it's taking that value from.

All of the 4 decks have the master greyed out.

Need some help....

I would hazzard a guess that it is in master clock mode and set to 127.84.. there are 2 buttons top right under clock master one internal and one external next to the tempo.. neither of these wanna be on instead, right next to it is deck master which can either be auto or manual as you wish

oh sorry Tyler, you wanna select MAN mode under this deck master

 

I am not seeing this option in Traktor Scratch Duo. Is there a different way to control this is Duo?

Ahhh sorry Tyler, pass! I assumed you were on PRO... you'll have to contact tech support if anyone else is unable to help as I don't have a duo copy I can refrence

 

If I remember correctly, Duo is locked to "auto"-selection.

I can't remember when this started happening, but on older versions I didn't have such trouble with the automatic detection of the master assignment. With 1.2.4 (I haven't updated to 1.2.5 yet, because I haven't had the time to testdrive it "at home, in safety") it sometimes switches the "master" to the deck I'm intending to load next (while I'm prelistening it, searching for the right spot, etc.) and sometimes this can have rather devastating effect if the other track (the actual master) had the sync in "half-lit"-mode.
