When samples are loaded into memory, does Kontakt not have to access the HD again when playing those samples at all?

I'm asking because I'm thinking of installing my library on a Network Drive, and then using Kontakt with FX Teleport. After the samples are loaded into memory, I'd like to avoid Kontakt pulling large files back over the network again while trying to stream the FX Teleport audio.

if you want no disk access after loading the samples you must disable the DFD.

you better have a gigabit network ! loading the samples are already slow !

Wow, yeah, DFD off a network drive would really suck. But like Cyrill said, even loading them off a network drive might be an issue as well.
