i am having the same problem.. i have tried version 7 and 8 of stuffit... (there were problems with early versions of stuffit 8, but those have been fixed).

double clicking the installer prompts me to pick an application to open it with.

it does not install.

 

same here ... maybe N.I. could post the .ens in the user library?

no luck here... when i try to run the installer from a teminal it tells me:

"cannot execute binary"

ah, well...

i tried with Safari first than with Explorer to see if it made a difference but ...
no it dosent installe nothing.

it's quite a sad stament on the state of affairs over at NI Headquarters when i, and others, admit that we're not the least bit surprised this 'gift' doesn't work. incredilby symbolic of the year, at least on the Mac side, that NI has been having - consistent releases and updates that either don't do what they say they will do or don't work all together. i sell all their products at my place of work, but have to include what amounts to a disclaimer whenever I sell some of their products to a Mac guy. "Reaktor and Absynth won't work in DP, the ones that do FM7, B4,Pro-53 only kinda do. Expect GUI glitches or editing problems." Hopefully they get their act together soon, because they do/will have the best line of products when they all work as advertised.

yea, its working good here P4 2.4 XP. Super fun,amazing Inst. Its just a standalone and i can remember how to route it to SX2 so that i can record it!! I`m so used to VST. Anyone figured that one out..?? Rich

It's not working here either. (mac)

But they'll fix it soon enough to present it to us as a new year's gift, including 'enhaced features'.

Installer Doesn't Work On Mac

It's not working here either. osxaudio.com readers report the same problem. Bummer, indeed. Hopefully someone's still awake over there. I believe it's already Xmas, so probably outta luck till next week. or year. OH WELL!! I think I'll just use Reaktor and Atmosphere instead.

Works on mine

It seems to be working well on my XP Pro Pentium 4 1.5 GHz machine. Almost makes up for two days of trying to get Reaktor 4 plugin to work on my Cubase SL.
