hey, im impressed, you did it. this piece is what i have been waiting for since i did my first steps in daw´s. thanks ni, i love you since r2, and this time again, you surpassed yourselves...

but did no one think about a metronome click volume control?

please add a volume control or route the signal through the master volume.

whohoo, im back to my maschine ;)

ps: i found this request in some other threads, without official replies. i think its a simple but important feature, so i decided to start a seperate thread.

    Hear Hear!
That click is quite a bit louder than it needs to be half if not most the time. +1

having the ability to assign the metronome to ext outputs would be very desirable. I imagine in a performance setting, one might be working with acoustic musicians whom might benefit from click. or if there was live resampling going on. I know you could just assign a click to a sound slot and sequence a click track but it would be nice to not have to use a group for that.
I thought of this as I was drifting into sleep last night...Maschine get out of my dreams!

There are ALWAYS times and situations when you want to manipulate the metronome volume. What I'd like to know as a potential buyer doing his due diligance is what kind of metronome is it? Is it one of those beeping ones or is it more of a popping kind of click like the MPC metronome? I know it may sound petty and trivial but for me it make a difference. Sonar has several different metronome options including one that sounds just like the MPC click, so I sampled it and used it in Cubase. It helped me out a lot with my beat making in Cubase but Cubase is iffy with the metronome working some days and not working on others. I have no explanation but it is very annoying.

    Interim fix:

I have the 1010lt card and just adjusted my 1/2 output down. Turned up the volume in Maschine and presto. Metronome is great at lower volume. Total hack but it does the trick.

If the lack of control of metronome volume and choice of "beep" sounds is a problem there's an alternative - load up samples of your own favourite metronome sounds and sequence your own metronome (should only take you 10 seconds or so in a new project to get this happening).

I generally put "utility" things like this in Maschine into Bank H (along with self-created Aux FX chains).

You can then control the volume as needed and bus it to whatever output you desire at whatever volume.

Personally I love the tick sounds of the MPC3000's metronome and so have sampled those tick sounds and use those instead.

Agreed however, the current state is a annoyance however if you read the announcements surrounding the forthcoming 1.1 maintenance update, you'll see that the metronome volume will soon be adjustable.

Has anyone noticed this with the metronome? When I record a scene or pattern, it is at the normal volume, and then suddenly for no reason, the volume goes lower. Sometimes the beep sound changes too... It did not do this before v1.1 so I'm thinking bug...?

Also, why is there no metronome button and volume (with different beep options) on the software? Seriously, it cannot be that hard to do... It is really annoying!

Hi Guys, the metronome currently can be adjusted with ****+Play+Volume knob.
There's no indication of the metronome volume in the software itself but this is bound to change in an update. Having the option to route the click output to a different out will be great as well.

endpop, no, I haven't notice this bug but I've noticed the default metronome volume does not get save with the project. It goes back to 0 after reopening. A thread has been make to report this already.
