Well, given the sometimes volatile state of UL contributions I ALWAYS download each and every change of any kind just in case...wound up with some real 'collectables' over the years ;-)

Bravo! Anything but scary. This is the cheeriest ambient-like music I've heard in some time!

I have just updated MF Auralis to version 3.0.

There is only one change - I added a random snapshot changer to the B view. The A view is unchanged and you can't do the random snapshot from that view.

The randomness factor (1 to 10) ranges from rather slow to rather fast. I like a setting at 3 or below.

Both the time and snapshot are randomly selected.

I made the B view scaled to fit fullscreen in an HD monitor - you can reduce the size by editing its properties if you have a smaller monitor. CPU power should not be an issue.

I really enjoy listening to (and watching) this soundscape and I consider it the best ensemble I have made in Reaktor.

The ensemble is too big for the U/L so you have to download instructions to do the actual download from my web site. The instructions give the download archive unlock password.

I added a demo sound to the U/L that shows about a dozen of the 128 presets.

    Here is the demo

    U/L entry for MF Auralis

The samples and ensemble are free from any restrictions: the Reaktor pirates on audioz.info give it a favorable review, OK by me, but they have an earlier version.

Thanks Jim! Myself, and a lot of people, really appreciate the free stuff, if you have any doubt look at Miller Puckette (the creator of Max/MSP and the free Pure data), the man is a hero!
Im studding Simon´s MF, and Im really curious about your work.
    best regards

Simon's MF Eternity has the most awesome samples. After I listened to them I was inspired to make this set, so he probably gets some credit. And it did force me to dig deep inside MF to make some mods of my own.

I made the sample map a long time ago. They were intended for a Reaktion call for works (#8 - a 1 minute performance) that rachMiel started, but I didn't finish the samples in time to complete a work. I am really pleased with these samples, though, and they sound a lot different than what you hear from the presets because of all that resonance that MF applies. So you may want to try them in other applications. They were all made using Auralis and a few other special effects (Banaan Electrique, Fusion Reflections and orgaNism teN).

One or two of my presets are similar to Simon's or were influenced by his sounds and I did take the 'Dr. What' classic and ported it from the original MF.

But the old snapshots are not portable, so you have to dial in the same patches by hand - they will never be the same.

Having said that, 125 of the presets and 127 of the samples are original. Sample 128 is special, it's called 'Silence' because, oddly enough, it is very quiet.

I learned a lot about MF doing this and most of my presets have very long control lengths. Each control length was done separately and manually with no concern for meter, so the controls will probably never return to unison. That makes each preset basically endlessly changing.

Personally, I think this is my best work in Reaktor and I enjoy hearing it - I play it quite often in the background. That's why I added the automatic preset changer to version 3 and that's why I'm pushing it in the forum.

Try listening to the preset called 'Torture' for a while, I dare you! It really scares the h*** out of me. I don't mind if you delete it because every time it gets selected I cringe.
