Mic > Audio 6 > Maschine Sampling...not recording

    Ive got my Mic plugged into Audio 6. Ive got USB connected into Maschine. Ive got System Pref in my Mac set on 'Komplete Audio 6' for Sound Input.

    The only sound recorded as an Ext sample in Maschine is from the computer mic.

    I bring up Garageband to check and can record via the interface perfectly fine. The computer mic is disabled. Same for my Reaper DAW. Also tried my guitar, same result.

    How come not Maschine?

    Its OK Ive discovered the problem, but just in case anyone checks here with the same, this is what it was.

    Open Maschine

    Drop down FILE and select AUDIO and MIDI Settings.

    Select Audio tab.

    On Device, the default is Built-in (I hadn't looked before because Id assumed that when I plugged in Audio 6 that it automatically selected).

    Drop down on the Built-in button and you will see other devices running.
    Click on Komplete Audio 6 and
    youre off! like grannies knickers on a hot sunday afternoon!

    When you unplug it just defaults back to Built-in
