    Hi,

Is there a way to put a micro in traktor with a normal micro with the small plug (as small as an plug for earphones in your ipod), not usb.
If I install asio and I'm not sure I have that option for input routing, the only option I have is one that seems to be an internal micro, because everytime I switch it one traktor starts to beep because it repeats the sound of an enternal deck and my micro isn't plugged in.

    thanks in forward

Using a microphone as an external source is possible, but if you could give us more informations about your configuration (PC or MAC, soundcard model, etc) , it would help us to see how it could be done with the equipment you have.

So you are using the computer's internal soundcard?

And when you say the ASIO driver, do you mean ASIO4All ?

If that is the case, normally, your microphone should be connected to the input, then you should see the input in the ASIO4all control panel.

Then, in Traktor, you should select the ASIO4all driver. Norrmally, if it appeared in the control panel, it should appear for the input in Traktor as well.

Before anything though, you may want to verify in Windows Control panle > Sound > Recording that the microphone input ( and not the integrated microphone ) is your default recording device.
