Microphone with Kontrol Audio 1

    I want to route my mic through KA1 to my powered speakers but cannot get any audio.

    1) Mic plugged into XLR input 1 with mic selected
    2) Phantom 48V turned on
    3) Mic volume up and mic on

    WHAT AM I MISSING?

    I tried monitor on and volume up and listening to both outs.
