Hi guys. I'm looking at buying a Pioneer DDJ-SB, not looking to spend big money. Been djing since 1997 and had every type of kit you can think of. I'm nearly 40 and it's only for bedroom djing! I used to have cdj's and loved the 0.02% pitch adjust. I cannot seem to achieve this in Traktor with my current controller or with Traktor alone. I read online that Midi 14 controllers can do it but is this limited by the controller or the software? I'm sure there have been a few posts like this lol?
Any help would be great, thanks!

Also! how can you tell if a controller is Midi 7 or Midi 14? It doesn't seem to state it in the technical specs on the pioneer website

It seems i've found my answer! The Pioneer XDJ-Aero is just over £500 and has the +-6% pitch adjust and doubles as a controller. I know what i'll be buying :D

you can use any controller, you can set a custom tempo range in the traktor options, if you are talking about oldskool pitch beat matching Vs timestretch tempo

tempo range in the options goes from 2% -> 100% in the transport part of the options, 6% covers 6 or 7 bpm either side of the tempo slider, and is best for music where loosers make a tracks that are 173 bpm instead of 174 like the rest of the scene if you manual beat match

american audio vms4.1 will do everything for £240, you just need a skin, and my mapping

they make a 5, new jog wheels, filter button, some screens, better fx unit knobs, and 8 inches wider, it will be better then ns7 mk 3 with no safety features for wannabe dj`s
