Midi Chain Question - UC33 / Faderfox DX2

    I am about to add a Faderfox DX2 to my UC-33 / Traktor Pro setup.

    My question is this...

    Since I connect my UC-33 to my computer via USB... if I were to chain the midi out of the faderfox to the midi in of the UC33 will I have to conect to the UC33 to my computer VIA midi now too? Or will it all still work via the USB connection from the UC33 to the computer?

    I am trying to avoid connecting either to the computer via midi is possible.

    Yeah i can see this working fine with USB. Just checked the UC33 spec and you can use the 'MIDI Out from USB mode switch' , this disables the Midi Out connection and sends Midi over USB as well as powering it.
    The Faderfox should be fine in the Midi In on the UC33 as the spec says it can be used as a One In/One Out Midi interface.

    Should be fine. Also the DX2 is AWESOME. I love mine.
