Midi Controller with Soundcard - Your advice needed!

Ok following on from a previous post I am addressing my issue of trying to move away from mouse and keyboard control of Traktor 3.

I have narrowed my choices down to the following list of Midi-controllers with built in soundcards.

Hercules RMX
Numark Omni Control
Reloop Digital Jockey (With Interface)
Vestax VCI - 100
Vestax VCI - 300
Vestax VCM - 100 (Does this have a built in soundcard?)

Feedback is greatly appreciated, your the guys who have one of the above your the ones who know what there like. So make your case for which of the above you would recommend, good experience or a bad one.

Well you need to do more research, because the VCI-100 does not have a built in soundcard.

I don't see the BCD3000 anywhere either.

 

I used VCI 100; however it does not have a sound card so you need a sound card to split the sound. I use M-Audio fire-wire 400. Its been great so far.

Correct! the BCD 3000 is not on my list cos i don't like it for a number of reasons.

Ok Specifically speaking then, soundcard or not that is my list of options. Advise me people.

 

VCM-100 does have sound card.

The echo-audio-fire 2 is good sound card.


what is your budget to get set up?

 

Max of £400 or about $600 -$700 for those across the pond from where i am in Scotland

 

After careful thought and consideration I have taken the plunge on the Hercules RMX, should arrive on Friday, and hopefully be set-up to use for my set on Sat
