    Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a midi controller and am looking for recommendations from other NI forum users. I currently use Traktor 3 / Audio 2 DJ on a Macbook running OS X 10.4.11, which I know is a legacy system system, but suits my needs at the moment. I may well upgrade both the Mac and move to Traktor Pro soon, so I want the controller to be future proof. Can anyone help?

    Many thanks in advance.

What exactly do you want the controller to do?

    What's you're price range?

Control most functions of Traktor, track selection, crossfade, effects etc so that I don't have to use the keyboard much.

My budget is up to £300

i don't really know what you mean with future proof, that only depends on what you want to to in the future

I'd personally go for a VCI-100. Can get it second hand from £300 or less, good community supporting it on djtechtools.com

If you want something robust and as you already have teh Audio 2, i would like "LP" go for a VCI 100 which is a bit like the SL1200 of midi controllers.
