    Hey guys.

    I read that this should now work with 2.1.1, but apparently I am not smart enough to figure out how to do this (if it really is possible now).

    1. I create or load a kit including pattern and samples.
    2. I right click my Kits name and choose Group MIDI Batch Setup -> Sounds to MIDI Note.
    3. I drag and drop the pattern to my DAW.

    For me it is exactly the same as in 2.0. It plays all notes with the same sample.

    Am I doing something wrong here? Something I did not understand ?

    Best;

    You need to set midi in active for that group.

    Note, until NI release an update you can only use 1 group per instance when using external midi.

    You can use more than one group per instance when doing groups. The only way you can't is if you do it per sound, not group, because you can only have 16 ins and outs. I can atleast.

    Hi Jordan

    Not true and confirmed by NI support.

    It's impossible to have midi coming in from your DAW into group A then record another part from the machine controller into group B C etc.

    You could in 1.8x but not in 2x.
