I just downloaded, tested, and purchased Midi Guitar by Jam Origen, a software guitar-MIDI converter program.

    http://jamorigin.com/products/midi-guitar/

This software works WAY better than I expected. It tracks instantly, and uses no hardware other than your guitar (or anything with an audio converter). It is made for electric guitar, but I am using a Takamine acoustic electric (with nylon strings yet), and although I may have to change my technique a little (like, get cleaner) and set some kind of quantization, it is amazing to play all my softsynths from my go-to Flamenco guitar. Not only that, but it does CHORDS!!! Even Flamenco Rasgueos sound good (depending, of course, on the patch...)

So far, I've just experimented with using in Live, with Midi-Guitar as a VST, and Maschine 2 as a midi synth within MG as a host.
Works perfectly.... amazing.... So much for my You-Rock guitar... (which I had hardly even unpacked)...

A whole new world just opened up for me....
And I can see the notes triggering on Push as well (and on Sylenth's keyboard)

Solved... installed the VST and AU and started Midi Guitar Software externally... then it directly sends Midi on a chosen Midi-Channel, using the Channel Selector.

I got that too! Try it on the Chet Singer physical model wind instruments in the Reaktor user library together with a midi pedal for expression!

    It's awesome.
