    Hello guys!
When I want play along with the midi files I only will hear any sound on channel one. Whatever instrument is on channel 1 is going to be my sound.
The problem is that I cannot move at a preset midi file the channels around, or can I? This means that when I actually change the sound of the channel 1 instrument the e.g. melody which actually guitar turns into xylophon. How can I prevent this?
Or can I assign a different channel to my midi keyboard?
    Thanks in advance to you!

I actually just found out that my masterkeyboard is only able to send through channel 1: It is a Doepfer PK88.
Is there any possibility to move the single midi streams of a midi file around?

    Hi aboaboa,

if you are on a PC, you should check out Guenther Naglers free MIDI tools! just google for GNMIDI. I am sure that he has a utility just for that purpose!

    best,
    Markus
