Midi-Keyboard Status: Off?

    When I load Kontakt or one of the synths via Cubase 8 I can play with my midi keyboard.

    But when I open Kotakt outside of Cubase. Nothing happens in settings it says the name of my keyboard and status: Off. Cant change it to on or anything.

    Can someone help?

    So clicking on [OFF] and choosing one of the Ports (A-D) is not working?

    Is there maybe another application (besides Kontakt) running at the same time which already uses the Keyboard as MIDI input?

    Which MIDI keyboard are you using (name, model, etc.)?
    Is the problem only in Kontakt standalone? Or is the MIDI keybord also not working when using other standalone applications like FM8, Massive, etc ?
