MIDI learn all 16 knobs with Logic Pro X?

    I have read through several posts about the fact that Massive X does not have MIDI learn capabilities (yes, a huge disappointment). Some users have suggested workarounds which involve using the DAW's MIDI learn functions, but what I cannot seem to find are specific instructions on how to do this:

    Control all 16 macro knobs in Massive X with...
    - hardware controller that also has 16 knobs (such as Arturia MiniLab MKII)
    - Logic Pro X

    Currently, I am using Logic's Smart Controls to MIDI learn, but that is not sufficient because Smart Controls only allow the control of 12 knobs, not 16.

    Does anyone know how to assign 16 knobs of a hardware controller to Massive X's 16 macro knobs, using Logic Pro X?

    If you do, I would be eternally grateful.
